The new edition of the Global Displacement Report explores global refugee movements, the integration of refugees and Ukraine.

The project „Forced Migration and Refugee Studies: Networking and Knowledge Transfer“ (FFVT) presented the new edition of the Global Flight Report on 27 May 2024. „The current refugee debates focus on deterrence measures in Europe. This focus distorts the facts: The majority of refugees receive protection in countries of the global South,“ argued IDOS researcher Dr Julia Leininger together with Prof. Petra Bendel (Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg/CHREN), Dr Franck Düvell (Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies/IMIS) and Dr Benjamin Etzold (Bonn International Centre for Conflict Studies/BICC).
