The staff of IDOS mourn the death of Dr Inge Kaul, who passed away at the end of January. As a cooperation partner and former member of the IDOS Board of Trustees, Dr Inge Kaul supported the work and further development of our Institute over many years and contributed to events and publications organised by IDOS (formerly Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik/ German Development Institute). Her work on the provision of global public goods, human development and the future of multilateralism stands for scientific excellence and practical applicability and will continue to be taken up and reflected in IDOS’ work. Dr Inge Kaul was until recently Senior Fellow at the Hertie School in Berlin and Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Global Development (CGD) in Washington.
