Prof. Dr Clara Brandi at the 1st Economic Policy Forum at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)

Just Transition needs sustainable economic policy. The 1^st Economic Policy Forum at the BMZ on 01 December 2022 therefore focused on important economic policy decisions to promote social-ecological economic transformation. For this purpose, Federal Development Minister Svenja Schulze consulted with Prof. Dr Clara Brandi, Head of the Research Programme „Transformation of Economic and Social Systems“ at IDOS and Professor of International Economics / Development Economics at the University of Bonn, as well as with Prof. Dr Achim Truger, Member of the German Government’s Council of Economic Experts, Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director at the International Trade Center (ITC) inGeneva and Prof. Dr Helmut Asche, Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and African Studies at the University of Mainz.
