Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge delivered a keynote on “Global Trade & Multilateralism in Disruptive Times” in which she reflected on dependencies between the core and the periphery of the global economic system. She emphasised the need for pluri- and minilateral alliances whilst reforming and upholding the multilateral system and Europe’s task to develop a global partnership architecture. Together with fellow Heads of other JRF Institutes, she also contributed to a subsequent panel that shared perspectives for sustainable development policy and reflected on implications for the work of the Johannes Rau Research Foundation.
