The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung celebrated its 100th anniversary on 31 March in Bonn. IDOS Director, Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge, joined a panel with Dr Claudia Bogedan, Managing Director of Hans-Böckler-Foundation, and Martin Schulz, Chairperson of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, to discuss “Strengthening International Understanding and Justice in a Polarised World”. As the rule-based international order faces immense threat and the transatlantic alliance wavers, Anna-Katharina Hornidge highlighted the importance of German and European investment in multilateralism and minilateral alliances with like-minded democratic middle and regional powers on all continents.
