This year marks the 40th anniversary of financial cooperation between China and Germany. On this occasion, IDOS researcher, Prof. Stephan Klingebiel, took part in events on the role of China in development in the global context.
Prof. Stephan Klingebiel (IDOS) and Prof. Xiuli Xu (College of International Development and Global Agriculture (CIDGA) at China Agricultural University (CAU)) jointly organised an expert round table with BMZ State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth on 11 April in Beijing. Topic was: „Development paradigms and development cooperation in a changing international context: China’s development role in the global context“.
Stephan Klingebiel also contributed to the high-level event „China-Germany Dialogue Forum on Financial Cooperation“, which was opened by Chinese Finance Minister Lan Fo’an, BMZ State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth and the German Ambassador to China, Dr Patricia Flohr, on 11 April in Beijing.
