This activity is part of Karina Mross’s broader academic engagement. She was invited to spend six weeks as a visiting researcher at the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of York. The department is well known for its research on peace and conflict, and boasts a newly inaugurated York Centre for Conflict and Security. She was also invited to present her innovative research on measuring social cohesion through music listening preferences at a cross-departmental seminar at the neighbouring University of Leeds.
