On 19 October, the yearly general meeting of the Johannes Rau Research Association took place at IDOS. It brings together the heads of non-university research institutes and the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to discuss common science policy challenges.
Dr Axel Berger, Deputy Director of IDOS, welcomed the representatives of the respective institutes to IDOS. After the general meeting, IDOS’ library team provided information on research data management and science communication at the Institute. Following the invitation of Minister of State Ryglewski, Federal Chancellery, Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge represented SDSN Germany, the WBGU and IDOS on the day at the Federal Government’s event on the further development of the German Sustainability Strategy in Berlin.
Dr Axel Berger attended the GIZ Board of Trustees meeting and discussed GIZ’s initiatives for reconstruction in Ukraine and shape a feminist development policy.
