IDOS Director Prof Anna-Katharina Hornidge was a panellist at the anniversary event.
On 3rd June, the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT), celebrated its 35th anniversary. As a member of the Advisory Board and former ZMT Head of Department, Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge contributed to the anniversary exchange and celebrations. As part of the panel on “Oceans in Transition: Perspectives from ZMT and Beyond), together with Prof. Nils Brüggemann (ZMT), Prof. Dr Marie Fujitani (ZMT), Prof. Kai-Uwe Hinrichs, (Direcotr MARUM, University of Bremen), and Dr. rer. Nat. Michael Sswat (DAM and GEOMAR) and moderator Dr Tim Jennerjahn (ZMT), she discussed the current state of the oceans as well as ocean science systems. IDOS congratulates ZMT on the anniversary and looks forward to continued collaboration.
