In the focus: NRW’s role in strengthening cooperation architectures for sustainable transformation.

IDOS Director Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge joined an in-depth exchange with the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia and State Secretary Christian Wiermer on the development policy strategy of NRW.
The discussion with high-level representatives of the development hub in NRW showed that how one approaches development and international relations is always a reflection of self, and encouraged NRW’s positioning as an open, liberal, industrial actor, committed to the Agenda 2030 and the UN Human Rights Charter, and pursuing innovative and climate stabilising policies.
IDOS thanks the State Secretary for the invitation and for further strengthening NRW’s role for international cooperation architectures.
