Organised by the OCED, the session, explored the rapidly evolving landscape of agri-environmental trade-related measures (AE-TRMs). Recent OECD research identified 130 such measures in OECD and EU countries. Clara Brandi (IDOS) presented her research on the effects of environment-related provisions in RTAs on agricultural trade and the environment. The various expert inputs led to a conversation on how countries are adapting trade policy to support more sustainable agricultural systems.
