On 12 September, Federal Environment Minister Carsten Schneider visited the meeting of the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU). The WBGU, under the co-leadership of Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge and Prof. Jürg Drewes, thanks the Minister for the productive exchange on pressing questions of our time: How can support for climate protection be increased? What role should Germany play in environmental protection in Europe? How can the government support international agreements such as the Paris Climate Agreement in light of the current global situation?
