On 3 April, IDOS and other member institutions of the Bonn Research Alliance (BORA) presented themselves to doctoral candidates and postdocs from the University of Bonn and the BORA member institutions in the University Club.

At the Market of Opportunities, the (prospective) postdocs were able to find out about career opportunities and the broad spectrum of Bonn’s scientific landscape from the various non-university research institutions and staff units of the University of Bonn. Dr Christian Böber gave a keynote speech on research, policy advice and training at IDOS. Together with Mauricio Böhl, researcher in the IDOS research department “Transformation of Economic and Social Systems”, he answered questions at the IDOS stand about the institute’s work in the field of research and policy advice. Participants were particularly interested in employment opportunities and inquired about options for collaboration with the IDOS research departments.
