The delegation team spent the first two days of the trip in Addis Ababa, where Minister Özdemir took part in two conferences. The first was the African Youth in Agribusiness Forum (AYAF), organised by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) in cooperation with the African Union (AU).  The second was the UNIDO ‘World Without Hunger’ conference.

The trip to Zambia focussed on visiting BMEL projects and discussing further cooperation with various stakeholders, including the Ministry of Agriculture and the University of Zambia.
