The development policy landscape is changing, with today’s context for DAC members markedly different from just a few years ago. Geopolitical and geo-economic issues now largely dominate the discussions. While some areas of development cooperation and the international aid architecture are adapting to these dynamics, the policy field has remained relatively unchanged for years. IDOS colleagues presented and discussed with the DAC Chair research findings on the changing role of the OECD and the DAC, the geopolitical context of development cooperation, the interface between international climate and development finance and the way aid organisations are learning.
