In a multipolar world order, which has been further institutionalised with the expansion of the BRICS, IDOS training programmes are important formats that bring young people together for mutual and joint learning and exchange. A particular highlight this year was the Global Network Conference organised by the Managing Global Governance (MGG) Programme.
At the conference, network members from current MGG partner countries reflected on urgent global governance issues and how complex changes can be managed. Another highlight in 2023 was the establishment of an International Scientific Advisory Board (IWB). The IWB, which met for the first time in 2023, brings together international researchers to provide IDOS with strategic support in its scientific orientation and structural development.
