The College of International Development and Global Agriculture (CIDGA) at China Agricultural University (CAU) and IDOS met for a joint workshop in Beijing on 5 and 6 June 2023.
The workshop „The Future of Global Development Paradigms and Development Cooperation: Perspectives from China and Germany“ served to continue the exchange on development policy issues in a difficult geopolitical environment. From IDOS, Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge, Dr Stephan Klingebiel, Dr Heiner Janus and Dr Niels Keijzer were involved. On the CAU side, Prof. Li Xiaoyun and Prof. Xu Xiuli, among others, participated. The workshop was followed by visits to CIDCA (China International Development Cooperation Agency) and to CAU supported development projects in Yunnan Province.
