Negative spillover effects are undesirable impacts from industrialised countries that make it difficult to achieve sustainable development goals in other countries. Together with renowned experts, an international and interactive exchange of experiences will take place as peer-to-peer learning, focusing on the search for concrete solutions with the help of the perspectives of affected countries from the Global South to reduce negative spillover effects. Further details on the event will be announced via the SDSN Germany website and the network’s social media channels.

The Global Solutions Summit is an international forum where research-based policy recommendations for the G20, G7 and beyond are formulated and discussed. Under the title „Realigning Societies: Towards a sustainable, inclusive, and common future“, the Summit will take a global view on today’s systemic crises and explore global solutions. Notable experts from think tanks, research institutions, governance, business and civil society will be part of the event.

This year, around 1000 participants and over 100 speakers are expected. An overview of the speakers, the different formats and further information on the Global Solutions Summit can be found on the website.

Registration and contact: Spots are highly limited and by invitation only. If you would like to register for on-site participation, please contact the Global Solutions Initiative by email at events@global-solutions-initiative.org.
