On 10 November 2022, representatives of the member and partner organisations, the Steering Committee, the Extended Steering Committee as well as from politics, business and society came together for the ninth annual meeting of SDSN Germany.
This year’s meeting focused on so-called “negative spillover effects”. These are understood as undesirable external economic, social, environmental and security spillover effects from industrialised countries like Germany to other countries, especially those in the Global South, and can and thus undermine their efforts to achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Furthermore, the new Steering Committee of SDSN Germany was constituted on this day. The Steering Committee is elected every two years by the members of SDSN Germany and appoints the chairpersons from among its members for the duration of its term of office.
