Kerstin Zander shares findings of her research on “Heat impacts on human migration”

Dr Kerstin Zander, Associate Professor at the Charles Darwin University, Australia, is currently conducting the second part of her 18-months Alexander von Humboldt fellowship, with German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) as main, the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) as secondary partner. Due to the Corona situation, she is working from Australia. In order to foster exchange with researchers at DIE and PIK, on 11 September 2020 DIE and PIK jointly organized an online seminar in which she presented her ongoing research on “Heat impacts on human migration”.
