IDOS has completed the regular evaluation by the Johannes Rau Research Foundation (JRF) with a very good result. Among other aspects, the strong commitment of the staff and the high standards in research and policy advice were acknowledged.
The on-site visit took place in October 2024. The evaluation commission certifies that IDOS has achieved the goals it set for itself in an outstanding manner. Among other things, the report emphasises the highly motivated staff, the high quality of research and policy advice as well as the good cooperation between the departments and with the service areas. The report makes recommendations for further staff development (particularly in the service areas), the adjustment of performance indicators and the future acquisition of third-party funding.
The JRF has completed the IDOS evaluation process for the 2018-2024 period with the publication of the Evaluation Commission’s comments and the vote of the JRF General Assembly in May 2025.
