Bandung at 70: Guiding multilateralism today

Körber-Stiftung and Robert Botsch Stiftung launched their new joint publication “Bandung at 70: Mulitlateralism in a New Era of Multi-Alignment” with a roundtable event on 8 October in Berlin. Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge was invited to join the discussion.

Taking place under Chatham House Rules, high-level representatives from national and international politics, international organisations, think tanks and universities came together. The report and event explored how the legacy of the 1955 Bandung Conference – a landmark meeting of Asian and African states who had recently gained independence from colonial rule – can help us protect multilateralism whilst also rethinking it for today’s fractured yet highly interdependent world.
